Megan & Michael: Jones River Trading, Kingston {10/12/12}

If you have ever been lucky enough to have attended a wedding at Jones River Trading (or better yet, had YOUR wedding there) then you know what a unique and beautiful hidden gem is tucked away on that side road in Kingston.

Megan & Michael were married at First Parish Church of Kingston and then celebrated with family and friends right across the way at Jones River Trading. And oh what a celebration it was! Where to even begin in a pictorial method to share the day with you…  maybe with a photo that the bride would not have seen as it happened. The flower girl and ring bearer leading the way.

All eyes on the flower girl and ring bearer as they lead the way at First Parish Church of Kingston.

Stealing a quick moment alone after the ceremony but before the reception, Megan and Michael are officially husband and wife when this photograph was taken.

If you have never had the good fortune to attend an event at Jones River Trading, check out this view that showcases the uniqueness of the venue which sets it apart from others.

Jones River Trading, in all it’s wedding reception glory.

Megan and Michael look as though they are falling in love all over again during their first dance as husband and wife.

The first dance that celebrates the rest of their lives together…

How about when the dance floor opened up for everybody? The DJ and MC for the night, Tim Kane of Blue Line Entertainment, did his job, and he did it well. The dance floor was packed all night with happy, dancing, smiling people.

The flower girl and ring bearer were not just goofing around on the dance floor- they were actually dancing, and kind of showing up some of the adults as far as their moves went.

It seemed like neither the bride nor the groom left the dance floor all night, either dancing with each other, or with guests.

There’s no denying that Megan & Michael had a wedding that will be remembered by all who attended for years to come. We were and remain honored that they choose Photo & Video by Joe Goldsberry to capture all the moments and memories of the day. Congratulation, Megan & Michael, and wishing you a life time of happiness.

Michele McPhee Book Signing {Cameron’s on the Green}

We were honored to have been asked to photograph a fundraiser for our town’s state representative, Geoff Diehl, held last night at Cameron’s on the Green in East Bridgewater.

The night was off to a great start with a packed house, as Geoff thanked all the attendees, he mentioned he was happy to see so many familiar faces but he was also humbled by all the new faces he saw who came out to support him.

Whitman/Abington/East Bridgewater state representative Geoff Diehl mingles with his supporters and discusses the issues facing the voters.

Every fundraiser has a draw, and this night was no exception. WRKO morning host, award-winning journalist and best-selling author Michele McPhee came down to the South Shore to speak on Geoff’s behalf. She had the crowd’s full attention as she spoke about some of the current events going on in Massachusetts, pointing out that you can’t be afraid to fight the good fight. Her memorable quote of the night, borrowed from Tip O’Neill, was “All politics is local”, especially thanking Geoff Diehl and some other local politicians in attendence for helping to bring balance back to the state house.

Best selling author Michele McPhee, co host of Feinburg & McPhee on WRKO, speaks to a packed house, supporting local state rep Geoff Diehl.

After addressing the crowd, Michele took photos with guests and signed her books, and all the time discussing the issues that affect all of us on a day-to-day basis.

A great time was had by all, with supporters showing up and packing the house from start to finish. The night finished off with a silent auction that saw many of the supporters going home with great prizes.

Whitman selectman Brian Bezanson trades in his winning ticket and Geoff Diehl hands him the shirt he won.

A handmade “elephant” hat was possibly the most sought after silent auction offering of the night.

State Rep Geoff Diehl was happy to offer an adorable handmade elephant hat in the silent auction.

A big thanks to State Rep Geoff Diehl and author Michele McPhee for asking us to photograph this very important event.

Katie & Dan {Our Lady of Lourdes, Brockton, Massachusetts}

When people ask us “What is your best source of advertising?” the answer is always “word of mouth”. Always. Katie & Dan were no exception. We filmed Katie’s aunt’s wedding back in 2005 at the same church Katie & Dan would be reciting their vows. When Katie & Dan announced their engagement, her Aunt Kathy had only one videographer in mind for her… and she brought them right over to our studio to meet.

The rest is, as they say, history. A beautiful wedding, overflowing with family and friends is what followed, and here we share with you the trailer video with a peek at their vows in the always winsome Our Lady of Lourdes church.
