{July 14, 2012} Kimberly + Steven @ The Monponsett Inn = wedded bliss!

The day was full of “perfect”. The gazebo, the details, the weather… the bride and the groom. Kim and Steve choose a beautiful spot in Halifax for their wedding day. The Monponsett Inn, with its gazebo and water views lends itself to being a premier ceremony and reception location on the South Shore.

Check out some of the details that made their wedding unique, and made their guests “ooohhhh” and “aaahhhh”…

Special touches and personal details made Kim and Steve’s wedding a memorable event for their family and friends.

And did I mention the gazebo? The Monponsett Inn is well-known for their gazebo view. It’s no wonder so many people choose to get married here.

The gazebo at The Monponsett Inn, Halifax boasts a water view that is hard to beat!

You’ve seen the details, you’ve seen the gazebo. But what you’re really here to see is the bride and groom. Seeing the groom watch his bride walk down the aisle is a shot that cannot be recreated. It’s a once in a lifetime look that speaks a thousand words.

Steve gets his first look of his bride as she is escorted down the aisle by her father.

Steve and Kim were married among family and friends outdoors. The sheer happiness of the day is evident at every moment throughout the day and night.

Steve and Kim’s outdoor ceremony at The Monponsett Inn brought together many friends and family to bear witness to their union.

Dinner and dancing followed their wedding ceremony well into the night. A packed dance floor set the scene for a night of festive celebration.

The dance floor was packed and the seats were empty, as family and friends made sure to keep the dance floor packed all night.

DeAnna & CJ {June 30, 2012} The “Four Weddings” wedding at Easton Country Club

The preparations were set and excitement was afoot at The Easton Country Club. After years in the making, and many months of planning, DeAnna and CJ’s wedding day had arrived.

The dream team was assembled, with Leigh Howlett as their in-house wedding planner extraordinaire providing special touches around every corner and food fit for a king and queen prepared by Russell Morin Fine Catering.

Yours truly was filming the day from start to finish, alongside the very talented Starlight Photography to capture every important moment.

Rob Peters from Rob Peters Entertainment was on hand to DJ, MC and provide all the entertainment for the evening. Add to the mix beautiful flowers from Green Akers Florist, and a cake that looks are great as it tastes by Artisan Bake Shop, and the day is almost complete…

There is one more detail… TLC’s Four Weddings would be filming DeAnna and CJ’s wedding for their 2012 Summer/Autumn season. Sure, there were extra camera people and sound people, and there were 3 extra guests (the other 3 brides from the show) in attendance. But they all blended in so well, I don’t know that anyone even noticed them. What people did notice was the fabulous candy buffet set up by Leigh, the teal up lighting that matched the whole teal theme, a super fun photobooth, and the basket of flip-flops that the newlyweds provided to their guests so no one’s dogs would be barking at the end of the night.

But don’t take our word for it.¬†Watch and see for yourself! We have assembled a highlight video that showcases dancing, smiling and good times had by all. You’ll hear DeAnna and CJ’s vows and DeAnna’s aunt singing the vocals, you’ll see the happiness that flows so freely, and you’ll feel the love that brought not only DeAnna and CJ together, but also brought together two families who seem to be one. Let us know what you think…

Top 10 Reasons to Have the Photo Studio Come to YOU!

We here at Photo & Video by Joe Goldsberry are quite proud that we are successful enough to have a storefront/studio in downtown Whitman. We can photograph you and your family right in our studio, or we can meet you at a local park or other location for an on location shoot. But there are some portrait sessions that simply must to be brought right to your house. A newborn baby session is the perfect example, and little Lainey is here to tell you her top 10 reasons she is glad that Photo & Video by Joe Goldsberry came to her house recently for her portrait session.

#10: You can just stretch out and make yourself at home, well, because you ARE at home.

This little piggy went to the market.

#9: You can keep daddy close by for a reassuring snuggle.

Lainey is the official apple of her daddy’s eye.

#8: If the baby kicks and your wedding rings go flying, at least you know they’re SOMEWHERE in your own house.

Some bling for the feet.

#7: If you happen to have a pup, he might make a cameo appearance into the shot at any time, and that’s ok!

Zdeno walks into the shot, and makes it even better.

#6: You’re more likely to get an awesome candid shot like this:

Mom says “What is it, Lainey?” and Lainey “I dunno. I’m just hanging around…”

#5: If it all just gets to be too much, you can let it out and cry. No one will “shhhhhhhh” you.

Enough is enough. Lainey says so.

#4: You never know, you’re photographer might sneak in a personal photo of something special from your house.

Love4Bub (Hey, how’d he get that picture??)

#3: Bare feet aren’t just ok, they’re encouraged!

Nothing sweeter than babies bare feet.

#2: You can change your outfit as many times as you like, including into clothes that represent MiteTees personalized shirts and Angel Cake Tutus.

MiteTees provided the shirt, Angel Cake Tutus provided the tutu, and Casey & Chuck provided the baby.

And the #1 reason to have the photography studio come to you… cause baby, when it’s time to nap, it’s time to nap. And nobody tells you “no”!

Little baby + big yawn = good night!
